Halloween
Life is pretty busy when you have a little one to take care of, so Cody and I weren't able to dress up for Halloween this year. We dressed Layni up in her Snoopy Cheerleader outfit and she looked so cute! Luckily my sister took these pictures of us because Layni cried like the whole night and I wouldn't have been able to take any pictures. I took Layni to the doctor on Halloween because I could tell she was getting sick and she was having a hard time breathing. Being the over protective mom that I am, I got her an appointment to make sure she was ok. The doctor said she does have a cold but her breathing is fine. So it was sort of a waste of a visit but now I can relax and I did get to see how much she weighed at least. She was exactly 9 pounds at 5 weeks old.

She is so cute, you guys made a cutie pie. I'm Cody's cousin, so you know and I found your blog on Ashley Nichols sight. Sorry, but now I may have to make visits to see baby progression. If you don't have "The Baby Book" by Dr.Sears, get it for sure. It kept me from many unnecessary doctor visits these past few months. Being a first time mom is not easy, every little thing freaks me out, but the book can help you narrow down when the doctor is necessary. I hope she's feeling better now.

Katelyn just got over her first cold and it was not fun- I agree that the hardest part is when she is conjested and it is a little harder to breath.
Hopefully she is better soon- check out my post from last week- it's some pointers on what to do w/ your sick baby.
Poor Layni :( we are sad that she was not feeling well. She sure did look cuter than ever in her cheer outfit. That is a great picture of her. We hope she feels better soon! We just cant wait for ours to be as big as she is. Hopefully we'll see you guys again soon.
